“Young People Fucking, also called Y.P.F., is a 2007 romantic comedy directed, written and produced by Martin GeroAaron Abrams. It debuted
at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. “Our generation makes an effort to separate love and sex,” says Gero. “They’re all trying to do this thing, and they’re all failing miserably … we’re saying, ‘Listen, people our age. This is really hard to do without being emotionally involved.’” -W.
This movie is actually very interesting, and very thought provoking. Although the title is very blunt, it doesn’t really give as much credit to the film as it should.
“Director Martin Gero and his co-writer, Aaron Abrams, outline their plan at the beginning. There will be five stories, involving The Friends, the Couple, the Exes, the First Date and the Roommates. With an admirable sense of symmetry, Gero follows these four couples (and a threesome) through six stages of f***ing, which he identifies as prelude, foreplay, sex, interlude, orgasm and afterglow.” – Roger Ebert
So if you’re passing by a Blockbuster or Hollywood Video, or if you even want to risk it and watch it “free” online, you guys should really check this film out. It’s pretty good.
